The Walkersville High School PTSA will be awarding scholarships to graduating seniors who have made a positive impression on the WHS community. The selected students will be recognized for adding something special to the WHS experience.  Many qualities contribute to making a student a positive presence in the school and community. The PTSA hopes to recognize as many of these outstanding young people as possible. 

The WHS PTSA has several requirements that need to be met before any application is even considered for a scholarship. 

  1. All applicants or at least one of their parents/guardians must be a registered WHS PTSA member prior to January 31, 2021
  2. Applicant must fully complete and submit the application either by hard copy or via email.  The hard copy needs to be put into an envleope and placed into the PTSA mail box in the WHS front office.  The email needs to be sent to WHSLionsPTSA@gmail.com prior to 3:00pm on April 16, 2021NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. 

Applications for the WHS PTSA scholarship are available on Naviance and on the PTSA Website under the Scholarship tab.  A panel of three PTSA members (not Senior Parents) will review and score all received applications.   At the May 18th PTSA meeting monetary awards will be voted on by members present.  Students will receive notification at the Senior Awards Ceremony.
